  Came here to buy a split system AC and the guy who served us didn't seem to have a clue about anything. First he said there is stock and then he said actually no there isn't, I've got 17 coming in. I asked when and he said "I don't know". I asked if he had any way of finding out as we're happy to put down a deposit and grab it when it comes in. "No." Was his very simple answer.

  I bought a fridge from Harvey Norman at Highpoint about 4 years ago and recently had a problem with the fridge and required a receipt which I no longer had. I called the store and explained my situation and they were super friendly and emailed me a copy of the receipt within 10min of me completing the call. I was very happy with the after care support I received! Thanks

  Typical Harvey Norman store. Went to buy a soundbar (as this was the only store near me with stock). The sales guy who attended to me (can't recall his name), was not very sure of the product, and while the online system showed adequate stock, he told me at first there was no more stock, and instead asked me to consider another model (which I was not comfortable with). After pushing him for more checks, he told me there was one left on hold by another customer which he could release to me. Upon pickup at the warehouse at the back of the building, the store guys mentioned there were many stocks in the stock house for that soundbar model.

  Walked over the road and bought the same one from Good Guys for around $90 cheaper and took it home that day.

  Was just in there and waited for 25 minutes and not one staff member could be reached to ask a question about whether a laptop is in stock . I was ready to pick up and buy right there and then but won’t be coming back. Staff looked uninterested and just waiting for the shop to close so they can go home. And one of the guys I approached said he was busy, he spent the entire 25 minutes talking to one couple whilst drinking tea and acting like he was in his living room. Don’t come here if you re expecting any level of service

  Then he proceeded to show us portable air con units as "you will need to get your landlords permission to install the split system". He completely assumed we were renting without us saying anything! We swiftly assured him that we own our home and thanked him for his time. How rude!
